A Message from Gamma Nu,
Hi there! On behalf of the Gamma Nu Chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta, welcome! My name is Alexis Bullion, and I am honored to serve as this year’s Chapter President. I hope that through this message, you can get a glimpse of what makes our chapter and sisterhood so special.
When I first joined Alpha Gamma Delta, I was welcomed with open arms by women who were confident, kind, and genuinely excited to know more about me. That same warmth and love have continued to shine through every single day since Bid Day. As an Alpha Gam, you are constantly surrounded by like-minded women who push you to be the best version of yourself, support you through the hard times, and empower each other daily. Our members are dedicated to improving themselves, while also uplifting those around them relentlessly. Together, we work to serve our community with passion and empathy for those struggling with food insecurity. Whether we are volunteering at the food pantry or cheering each other on at an intermural event, you will always find an Alpha Gam leading, supporting, and uplifting.
Our chapter also values academic excellence and personal growth. We take pride in each of our achievements, but what truly makes our sisterhood special is the unconditional support we provide to one another through the hard times and the good ones. Alpha Gam is a place where you will be celebrated for who you are and encouraged to grow into the woman you aspire to be. One line of our Purpose states, “To covet beauty in environment, manner, word, and thought,” and that sentiment is truly at the heart of our chapter. Whether it is a late-night study session, spontaneous adventure with sisters, or heartfelt conversation among each other, there are beautiful representations of friendship here that last a lifetime.
We are so happy you are here, and I cannot wait for you to experience all that Alpha Gamma Delta has to offer. I hope you are able to see what each of us cherish about Gamma Nu here at the University of Tennessee!
