Alpha Gamma Delta is
INVOLVED!
Hope Greene
2026 VP Campus Relations
When I think about Alpha Gam at the University of Tennessee, I think about a chapter that is constantly showing up. Our sisters are making an impact all across campus, the country, and abroad! Whether they’re serving as UTK Ambassadors, members of SGA, SAA, Smith GLS, Wilson Academy, or Partners in Sports, worshipping through Campus Ministries, leading in Honors Societies, researching in cutting-edge labs, or performing in the Pride of the Southland Band, they focus on the intentionality of our Volunteer Spirit. Alpha Gams lead with purpose, they support the people around them, and they represent Gamma Nu in a way that reflects who we are as a chapter.
Serving as Vice President of Campus Relations, I have had the opportunity to see this on a larger scale. I get to watch our members step into leadership roles, pursue opportunities they are passionate about, and bring those experiences back into our chapter. That involvement does not stay separate. It strengthens our sisterhood and creates an environment where people are constantly learning from each other and pushing each other to grow.
At the same time, what makes Gamma Nu so meaningful is the balance between involvement and support. This is a chapter where people show up for each other, whether that is celebrating accomplishments, encouraging someone to take a chance on a new opportunity, or simply being there on a difficult day. That kind of support system is what makes this feel like more than just another organization on campus.
There is not one path or one definition of what it means to be an Alpha Gam, and that is what makes our chapter so strong. Every member brings something different, and every member has a place here. Being part of Gamma Nu means being part of a community that is engaged, driven, and genuinely invested in both each other and the campus around us.
With love,
Hope Greene
